It was on a night reserved for celebration and new beginnings that we met; New Year’s Eve 1988. We often joke about the details of that evening but we both knew there was something special between us. We said “I do” on September 9, 1995 and began to build a life on our faith and love.

As we reflect on that journey, we realize how blessed we have been to have had countless memories filled with joy, laughter, and adventure. The joy that came with raising our son Gregory, bonus son Michael, and bonus daughter Jaleesa; the pride of witnessing our family grow and flourish; the adventure of traveling to different parts of the world; or the laughter that simply comes from our everyday experiences. We are truly grateful for this life we get to live!

We have never stopped depositing funds into our marriage bank account (literally and figuratively), we make sound financial decisions, we spend quality time together, we pray over each other and our family and friends, and a day doesn’t go by without a kiss before we go our separate ways for the day.

Ours is now marriage of strength and resilience, built on a foundation of faith, love, commitment, understanding, and a mutual respect for each other. We pray that we are navigating through our life in a way that inspires the next generation(s) of McCrarys, and ensures our legacy of family unity and traditions, responsibility, hard work and perseverance, endures.

Finally, our marriage would not be complete without the comfort and support found in family and friends. We are truly blessed that you are a part of our life, and we appreciate the love that you have shown us over the years. We have won the family and friends lottery!

So, as we honor and reflect on our past, and continue to plan for our future, we want to celebrate this milestone occasion with the ones who have been a part of our amazing journey. We hope you can join us as we make new memories celebrating 30 years of our love!
